ABOUT US
What We Believe
We believe that being a good neighbor is at the heart of our faith & we strive to extend kindness & hospitality to everyone in our community. Our worship service follows traditional liturgy & rituals, but the atmosphere is relaxed —come as you are! At Open Hearts we strive to be a space where everyone feels seen, loved & at home.
Our church is a warm, intergenerational community where children of all ages are cherished—wiggles, giggles & all. We find joy in engaging our youngest members in worship; every age has a place in a pew!
We believe that everyone brings something meaningful to our community & strive to provide opportunities for worship, growth & service to others. Most importantly, we are a place where all are truly welcome to hear about God’s love & feel God’s presence.
MISSION
The mission of the United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
VISION
Open Hearts United Methodist
Church cultivates a welcoming
community – united in God’s love, guided by scripture, and empowered by the Holy Spirit –
to live out Jesus Christ’s teachings.
VALUES

We apply scripture thoughtfully to guide us in discipleship while engaging reason, tradition, and experience.

We welcome people of individual experiences, circumstances, and hopes, trusting in the creating, redeeming, and sustaining God to unify us in faith.

We see the best in each other and offer one another grace, because although made in the image of God, we fall short of perfection.
Stewardship
To fulfill our vows to support the Church through our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness we report every quarter on our progress. Here is our latest report.
